Pension Commisioner Ware declares
that the pension bureau is a‘‘fountain of
squirtiferous joy,”” It may be to a lot of
bogus heroes who have for years succeed
ed in pulling the government’s leg, and
to them it must also be a fountain of life,

. The Cumberland Presbyterians in their
conference at Dallas have adopted a rule
which requests all ministers of that de
namination’ decline to perform, the

What a howl that was from certain
quarters that Judge Griggs had been *‘fix
ing things” in his district! A notable in

was made to defeat Mr. Griggs in hisown
district for delegate from the state at
large, and the prompt and overwhelming
defeat of the schemers was parent to this
Pharisaical howl of the shipwrecked and
and dissapointed plotters! Some funny
things occur in politics sometimes, but
the schemer who is defeated and then l
raises his wail in the interests of ‘‘the
dear, darling people’’ whom he tried tol

68, lying and being in the town of Lees
burg, Lee county, Ga. containing one and
one-half (1%) acres more or less and
known as the Kimbrough dwelling house
and lots, except 20 feet square from the
center of the grave on said lots where the
late George Kimbrough is now buried.

to satisfy two fi fas in my hands issued
from 945 Dist. of Dougherty county in
favor of S. B. Brown v s, John Dobins.
