business trip to Atlanta. They made
the trip by auto and report the roads

Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Holmes will

will sail for Japan.
Mr. Waymond Gunter entertained
his Sunday School class and the class
of Mrs. J. E. Thompson Friday even
ing. Fourteen were present and a
delightful evening was spent by all.

J. M. Bentley, a well known color
ed man, suffered a broken leg Satur
day when he was thrown from a
buggy in a runaway accident. He
was removed to the Hospital where
he was given medical attention.
W. D. Kavakos left Monday for
Atlanta, where he goes to buy new
furnishings for the New York Case.
Mr. Kavakos expects to greatly im
prove the interio -of his restaurant
and to make it a credit to the city.
