Money Caused Trouble
An old lady who was very well-to-do boasted
that she had no faith in hanks and that she never
trusted them with any of her affairs.
It was generally known that she kept money
hidden about her home. It was also said that she
sewed paper money under the lining of her dresses-
Because of these stories, people expected a rob
bery, so it was not a great surprise when this queer
old lady was found dead one Sunday morning, bru-
I tally murdered for her hidden money.
I he thieves evidently found money in various
places. They turned things topsy turvy in the ef
fort to find every dollar about the house. The old
lady lost everything when she lost her life—a ca
lamity which she invited by her fooishl methods.
Think it over.
