I HOLDS FIRST MEETING.
The Round Dozen Club held its
first meeting on Wednesday after
noon at the home of Mrs. T. B.
Youmans. The living room was dec
orated most artistically in baskets
of Dorothy Perkins roses, as were
also the tally cards and card tables.
After a delightful afternoon spent
in playing Auction Rook, a most de
licious salad course was served. A
short business session was then held.
Mrs. NT C. Napier was elected pres
ident, Mrs. T. B. Youmans vice-pres
and Mis. O. D. Warthen secretary.

Fire on the roof of Mr. J. E.
Thompson’s kitchen last Friday at
noon resulted in the fire department
being called out. The flames were
extinguished with hut little damag*
to the residence.

Wednesday night for Atlanta to at
tend the meeting of the Georgia Ed
