CARD OF THANKS.
I desire through the columns of the
Advance ro express my heartfelt ap
preciation to the parties who were
kind enough (after entering my gar
age and appropriating my car) to
leave it near my home later in the
night. I also want to thank them
for the care they exercised in driving
the car, which, while it showed it had
been splashed through Olloopee mud,
had been taken good care of and re
turned in excellent shape. I regret
that I cannot thank these friends in
person, but am unable to do so. I
do think, though that they might
have brought me some of the flour 1
which lam told was hauled from one
of the freight cars during the night
If my unknown friends will return
the car key I will be under still fur
ther obligation. Just leave the key
on my front step at night.
Gratefully yours,
D. C. PATTILLO.

MAKING HEAVY SHIPMENT
Local dewberry growers have been
making heavy shipments this week
to different markets and returns from
the shipments are proving very sat
isfactory. One shipment was made
to Baltimore, most of the shipments
being to the Atlanta market.
With an increase in acreage so that
carload shipments can be made, and
the berries delivered in fine shape
in New York anjd ether eastern cities,
growers say the crop can be made
much more remunerative.
