A majority vote will be required
to nominate, and if no candidate re
ceive a majority of the votes cast for
any office, the two receiving the lar
gest number of votes shall be qual
ified to run in the general election.
The fees required to cover the cost
of holding the primary are as fol- ;
lows: For Mayor, $10; for Council
man, $3; and for School Board $3.

POSSIBILITIES OF DAIRYING
FOR THIS SECTION
An important dairy meeting will be
helil at Lyons on Thursday, October
27th, at which time addresses will
be made by Mr. Fitch, the dairy
expert of the State College of
Agriculture, by F. M. Conner, devel
opment agent for the Seaboard Air
Line Railway, and several represen
tatives of the Ashburn Creamery.
All farmers of the county who are
interested in dairying as a branch of
farming and want to learn more of
its possibilities in bringing in steady
monthly incomes on the farm, are
urged to be present.

cream can be separated and just
