The alumni-ae banquet at Brewton-
Parker Tuesday evening was a charm
ingsocial and literary event, witness
i ed by a large numb.er from a distance
| returning to pay tribute to their alma
; mater and to renew* friendships and
’ rehearse former school days at the
i Institute.

> president, Prof. A. M. Gates, con
i nected with the school for Several
| years after its organization in 1905,
and the attendance and participation
on the program by Prof. L. S. Bar
rett, the retiring president, together
with a number of former students,
members of the faculty and others.
