You and Your Grandfather
Are removed from each other hy a
span of many years. He travelled in
a slow going etage-coach while you
take the lightning express or the elec
tric ca”. When 1 e was sick ho was
treated by old fashioned methods and
given old fashioned medicines, but
you demand modern ideas in medicine
as well as in everything elso. Hood's
Sarsaparilla is the medicine of today.
It is prepared by modern methods and
to its preparation are brought the
skill uni knowledge of modern seiehce
Hood’s Sarsaparilla acts ptomptly
upon the bleo.l and by making pure,
rich blood it cures disease and estab
lishes good health.
Asa rule I am opposed to proprie

one, especially when such is the source
ot relief from pain. Asa topical

In a recent letter to the manufact

the Spectator, Rushtord, N. Y., says'
"It may be a pleasure to you to
know the high esteem in which
Chamberlain’s medicines are held by
the people of your own state, where
the) must be best known. An aunt
of mine, who resides at Dexter, lowa,
was about to visit me a few years
since, and before leaving home wrote
rue, asking if they were sold here,
stating if they were not she would
bring a quantity with her, as she
dtd not like to be without them.”
The medicines referred to are Cham
berlain's Cough Remedy, famous for
its cures of colds and croup; Chnm
bsrlain’s l'ain Malm for rheumatism

chest, and Chamberlain’s Colic,
