The Talbotton Railroad.
President Thornton reports good pro

started at the No G end of the road, l'he
sideling, or switch, was completed on
last Thursday. On yesterday the engine
and ears belonging to our Company roll

that the road will be completed to Tal

There is a good force at work on the
short fill-in near the Talbotton depo 1
Tins work, together with the cut through
Mrs Carter’s field, will be completed in
ample time for the track lhycYs.
Some of tlie timbers are on the ground
for the depot b’ulldtng. wbveh is to be a
substantial wooden one tor the present.
Only temporary buildings will bo erect'
ed at No G, as it is the inteution of Col.
Raoul, ot the Central, to have the rail
road lots properly mapped out, with a
view to permanency when the buildings
are located, it is rumored that wo are
to have quite a handsome brick depot at
No G.ainl everything will bo arranged with
reference to this end and the business to
be transacted at tiiat point.
It now remains for all subscribers, who
have not done so, to walk up to Hie Cap

was .naturally quiet and unobtrusive,
consequently her true value as a Chris

Several ol her lemale friends who waited
upon her during her last illness, con

knowing more of her before her sickness,
and that Irtdhg witn her during her ill

For more than a jjay Im fore her depart

she quietly and peacefully fell asleep in
Jesus. May heaven bless the bereaved
