Our Full Fair.
A great deal ot interest is being muni -
tested in the approaching exhibi ion of the
Ta.bet County Stock and Fair Associa
tion, to commence Oct her 11th, and
continue four days. Lihcr.il premiums
have been offered m all departments of
the Fair, and the lid ot competitors
| promises to be unusually largo. Nearly
one thousand dollars in premiums are
offered in exhibits, a great number ot
them handsome enough to cause active
competition. Twenty dollars each vill
be awarded on five-acre con and cotton
exhibits, for first, and dollars each,
for seoond bast. The premiums through
out are liberal and confined to the range
of products raise 1 in Talbot county,

Death ofP. L Mott -
Cos! RJj Mott <if Columbus, was sud -
denly killed in Atlanta, on Tuesday last
by b ing run over by the tender of the
switch engine that was pulling the Macon
train into the passenger depot. He was
attempting to cross the track to board
tlio Went Point train, ii is body was Rev
ered nearly in twain and otherwise badly
mutilated. The remains were taken to
Columbus for interment. His death will
boa sad loss t > Columbus atid'to the
entire State.
