That is about the way to put tbs I
political status of Glynn, at this writ
ing. Mr. J. E. Dart is the chosen |
standard-bearer of the Democracy,
and the ex-Hon. James Blue of tbe
Republicans of Glynn county, the lat
ter having been nominated last Sat-1
urday.
Well, we remember when We wert |
a boy standing up before the school
aud declaiming thusly: “Besides, sir,
the battle is not to the strong alone, ]
but to the vigilant, the active, tbe
brave.” This sentiment we must in
scribe upon the banners of the De
mocracy. Blue is m good, clever
key, but he is a Republican aud that I
means volumes in this country. Then ]
rally around the standard, men, and
give Dart a rousing majority.
