It is felt that something must be done so that business may be more equally dis tributed among this brotherhood. No name lias yet been decided upon for tho association, though it is rumored it has liccn suggested that it should bo called tho Auctioneer’s School of Oratory. A meeting, it is also rumored, was held re cently, nt which various plans of organi zation were considered, tho matter being finally left in tho hands of a committee to preparo and Bubmit a constitution and by-laws at a future meeting. Some of the ideas promulgated were interesting, and showed that many of tho auctioneers are anxious to rid tho craft of the monot onous system of selling now commonly in vogue. It was shown that in conducting a sale even ordinary articles of household fur niture might have their value enhanced considerably by being melhfluously de- scrilKxl, and thus invested witli an in terest that would divest those present of their capita).
