To an observant mind, the long lines of box and flat cars lying congenially on tho side track of some great railroad, with thejr letters of introduction pinned on their breasts, as it were, in the shape ' of moreor less artistic lettering, aro full of curioussuggcstions. Hero and there, too, will bo seen cars in isolated posi tions, seemingly reaching out for sympathy in their temporary loneli ness.
