Mr. B. P. Curtis returned home Sun
day from an extended business trip
through the North and East. He re
ports that we are having spring
weather compared with the weather

Rev. Scott Dodd, of Stoner’s, spent
Saturday at Linwood visiting friends
and relatives.
We are sorry to announce that our
fellow citizen, G. B. Ward, is to leave
our community this week and will re
side in Kingston, he having leased
his farm for a period of six years.
Judge O. M, Butler has bought the
home of B. P. Curtis, near Linwood.
Mr. Curtis and family are to move to
Tennessee.
Murphy Collett, of the Seventeenth
United States Infantry, spent the
week-end with home folk*.

Mr. Arthur Henderson, of Folsom,
spent Monday at this place.
Mr. Frank Griffin spent Friday and
Saturday in Atlanta.
Mr. G. W. Johnson and ’ family
leavewthis week for Plains, Ga., where
they will reside.
Misses Ada and Violet Pressley
spent part of last week with their sis
ter, Mrs. George Anderson.
Mrs. Eugene Yarbrough and chil
dren, of Akron. Ohio, are visiting rel
atives in this community.
