instead of crying aloud, would there
have been the same results?
o. Does God prefer today that we
| pray to him audibly?
6. Verse 14-Why did Jesus send
these lepers to the priests?
7. If one or more of the lepers had
refused to go to the priests would they

10. Why did Jesus test the faith of

, ID Verses 15-16—What was the dif

IG. Why is it that the average man,
like the ten lepers, is thankful in an

the favors are received fails to give
thanks?
17. Verse 19 —If a sinner who is al
so suffering bodily affliction comes to
God with true penitence, f r physical
healing, does God always forgive his
sins when. he grants the lesser bless
ing? Why?

whole, either in body or soul, if he had
not exercised faith? Why?

RESOLUTIONS.
The following resolutions w tr
ade pted by the Methodist church Sun
day school of White as .a tribute to
the memory of J. O. Bolding, deceased
On -May 17, 1914, The All Wise Will
saw fit to take to himself in Eternity
our friend and brother, J. O. Boldiug.
He being so devout in his Christian
life, loving- and helpful to his friends
we share in the loss as all who knew
him do. We, the Sunday school at
White and especially his former class,
offer condolence to liis bereaved fam
ily.
Be it resolved, Ist: That we extend
to his bereaved family our warmest
sympathy and point to them his God,
the source of all real comfort.
Be it further resolved: That, this
class and school, realizing the loss of
so noble and upright character strive
harder to further the cause for which
he labored so hard with us and to
teach us both by precept and example,
and mourn the departure not as oia
who has no hope beyond the grave,
but feeling assured that he has enter
ed a wider realm and that we are to
join his school and class when the
great eternal morn shall dawn for us.
Be it again resolved: That, a copy
of these resolutions be sent to The
Bartow Tribune and a copy of the
paper and resolutions be sent the fam
ily.
Signed by,
CHAS. VAUGHAN,
Chairman.

SLUGGISH LIVERS
STARTED PLEASANTLY
No Need to Risk Disagreeable, Dan
gerous Calomel Now That Dod
son’s Liver Tone Takes Its
Place.
Plenty of people—thousands of them
have found that it is no longer nec
essary to risk being “all knocked out”
by taking calomel when constipated
or sufferiug from a sluggish liver.
Nowadays Dodson’s Liver Tone
takes the place of calomel.
M hat calomel does unplea -antly
and often with danger, Dodson's Liver
Tone does for you safely and pleas
antly, with no pain and no gripe. It
does not interfere in any way with
your regular business, habits or die:.
Camme! is a poison, a form of mer
cury, a mineral. Dodson's Liver Tone
is an all-vegetable liquid.
Of course, this reliable remedy ha;
itg.imitators. But Dodson’s Liver Tone
has been made to take the place of
calomel right from the start. The la
bel on the bottle always has said so,
beginning with the first bottle to and
Ami it is widely known today how
Dodson’s Liver Tone is as a remedy
and that Dodson never makes extrav
agant statements. He says that it
"livens the liver,” overcomes consti
pation agreeably and makes you feel
good, and if you are not satisfied com
pletely with it Gilreath Drug Cos. will
hand back the purchase price (50c.)
to you with a smile.
Such statements could not be made
without true merit to back them up
and it is easy for you to prove them
for yourself at no cost if not satis
fied and convinced.
STILL CAPTURED IN
HOUSE NEAR ATLANTA.
Atlanta, Ga., May 27. —Mrs. Lizzie
Mercer, of Atlanta, is charged before
the United States criminal court of
the daring, enterprise of building and
operating a moonshine still in the
surburbs of Miis city.
The whiskey still was found in her
residence near College Park, and af
ter the revenue officers had arrested
her, she confessed the ownership
thereto. She offered as defense the
statement that the still had not been
in active operation for some time past.
In view cf the fact that she is a re
sponsible woman and a property-hold
er the authorities have permitted her
to sign her own bond instead of send
ing her to jail, and the case will come
up for a hearing shortly.
The revenue officers are not pre
pared to accept her statement that
the still was not in active operation
as they seized in the house a quantity
of malt and other necessary adjuncts
for the making of whiskey.
A CARD OF THANKS.
We wish to thank the neighbors aud
friends of White and Waleska for their
kindness to us during the sickness and
death of our dear husband and father.
Also we thank the physicians for their
faithfulness and to those for the beau
tiful flowers. May God bless each and
every one.
