The back aches at times with a dull,

To the Voters of the CheroKee Circuit:
I hereby announce my candidacy for
the office of Solicitor General of the
Cherokee Circuit, subject to the Demo
cratic Primary to be held on August
19th, 1914.
In the administration of the duties
of. this responsible office, I believe the
interests of all the people can be best
conserved by a close attention to such
details as will prevent the dismissing
of meritorious bills of indictment on
technical grounds; the vigorous prose
cution, without delay, of violators of
the law, and the dischargement of ef
forts to prosecute where such prose
cution is founded in malice alone.
I have been reared in the law, and
through my association and partner
ship with my father have had a wide
experience in the practice of law
throughout the various counties of the
Circuit. I feel that this experience,
and the acquaintance thus made
throughout the Circuit, particularly
qualifies me to represent the people
in the discharge of the duties of So
licitor General.
Your support will be greatly appre
ciated.
J. M. NEEL, JR.

My candidacy is based strictly upon
my record and experience in this of

been satisfactory. If, in your opinion,
the management of the State’s finan
ces under my administration for the
past several years has been faithful
and efficient, I would gratefully appre
ciate your endorsement at the polls in
the coming primary.
Thanking you for the support ami
confidence extended me heretofore, I
earnestly solicit your further kind con
sideration of my candidacy in the pres
ent campaign.
Respectfully,
W. J. SPEER.

I hereby announce my candidacy
for re-election as representative from

of the legislature in performance of
my duties as your representative ami
will not be able to thoroughly canvass
the county, I will appreciate the aid
and support of all my fellow citizens
