deceased, we, the undersigned, as ex
ecutors aforesaid, will sell for cash,
at public outcry, to the highest bidder,

Mrs. J. T. Baker returned home Sat
urday after a week’s visit to her sis
ter in Birmingham, Ala.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lanier and little
daughter, Forest Irene, of Rockmart,
spent the week-end with Mrs. Lanier’s
parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Edwards.
Miss Odessa Ragsdale, of Atlanta,
is the guest of her brother, Dr. J. W.
Ragsdale.
Mrs. E. O. Davis and children spent
part of last week as the guests of Mrs.
Davis’ mother, Mrs. Mary Trippe, of
Ac worth.
Mr. J. H. Moore and Miss Selma
Babb entertained the school children
and a few friends at a picnic Friday
at Deaton's Cave.
Miss Zehna Babb returned to her
home in Powder Springs Saturday;
school being out Friday. Mr. Moore
will remain in Taylorsville several
weeks yet.
.Miss Una Trippe is spending this
week in Cave Springs, as the guest of
Miss Clara Edge.
Dr. J. W. Ragsdale h,as returned
home from Columbus, Ohio, where he
was carried on account of the illness
of his brother, Mr. L. P. Ragsdale. Mr.
Ragsdale's many friends will be glad
to hear he is much better.
Mr. A. R. Davis spent part of last
week as the guest of her mother, Mrs.
Thad Hawkins, of Stilesboro.
Mrs. ,T. W. Ragsdale was hostess at
a sewing party last Thursday after
noon. Twelve guests were invited.
After a delightful our spent in sew
ing an ice course was served.
Miss Iva Dorsey was hostess at a
rook party last Friday evening. Rook
was played at four tables and at a late
hour cream and cake were served.
