Loi Luke, of Adairssville, who is vis

day with Mrs. V. W. Dinning Sunday.
Miss Herman Johnson left Monday
morning for Eunarlee where she will
attend the teachers’ normal.
Misses Onie and Annie Harris and
Mr. Luther Mayfield, of Stoner, attend
ed the all day singing at Pleasant
Hill Sunday.
Mr. Milliner Adams attended sing
ing at Bartow Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. S. Pettit spent the day with

The little infant son of Mr. and Mrs.
Odus Mathes was buried here last
Friday.

ing a hospital course of ten months at
Pittsburg, Pa.
The crops in this section are grow
ing nicely after the recent rains.
Mr. Gordon Price and family, of
Ball Ground, are visiting at the home
of Mr. A. W. Richards.
On Monday night of last week Mrs.
L. T. Head was called to attend the
funeral of her aunt, Mrs. Cook, of
Resaca.
Miss Mattie Raines, of Gordon coun
ty, is teaching a music class at this
place.
Mrs. W. T. Green continues very ill.
Dr. Crisp Bradley, of Kingston,
spent Sunday with home folks.
Misses Annie I*ee and Gladys Linn,
accompanied by Mr. Lon Furguson,
motored through Folsom Sunday after
noon.
Mr. J. W. Adams spent Wednesday
right with his sisters, Misses Lv ila
and Hannah Adams.
Mrs. Dr. Bradley spent the past
week with her daughter, Mrs. B J.
Bandy, of Carbindale.

and Mrs. Haynes have the sympathy
