A Gasoline Engine
will furnish the cleanest, safest, most economical and satis
factory power obtainable in Newnan and Coweta county. No
wood or coal to buy, no water needed for steam, no “firing
ip” necessary. A gasoline engine can be started and stop
ped in less than one minute and can be operated by any in
telligent man; consequently, no fireman or expert engineer
is required to operate it. A gasoline engine is tho highest
type of engine security. Fire insurance companies allow
them to be placed in any building without increasing rates.

and lowest-priced engine made. Cal! and let me explain the

In its regular session next Monday
night, the City Council wilJ take action
iu reference to the establishment of a
school in south Newnan The school
building question nae been receiving
• arnest attention from the School Board
and the City Council, ami Council will
be prepared to ad lor the best interests
of the city schools at tins meeting.
The W. P. Nimmona property, in
south Newnan, is offered to the city as a
suitable location for a school building
and it is claimed the N millions residence
could be used foi this pnrjk>se tor several
years and would meet the needs ot a
southside school. Only a small sum,
above the cost ol the property, would be
required to tit up this building in a sat
isfactory manner tor school purposes.
Some opposition to the southside
school has developed, aud Council will
consider all piiasi-s of the matter belore
taking action. The tact remains that
the present buildings are inadequate to
meet the city - needs; and they
must be ,-ularged. cr a new building
