PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL In reguhirsession last Monday night, the City Council refused to up|iro|iriui.o money to build or purchase a school building in south Newnan. N’immons property and the conver sion of it to school purposes, Thu opposition ' developed was not to the establishment of a school in that quarter of the city. A majority of councilmen favored the proposition to south Newnan school and Second Quarterly Conference, occurs at Methodist church this (Friday) even- I ing, Rev. B. P. Allen presiding.
