We regret to note the death of Fay
Alnion, the young daughter of Mr. and
Mr8. Joe Altaon, which occurred at
Jacksonville, Fla,, last Tuesday. The
little body Was brought here for inter
ment. Mrs, Almou, formerly Miss Sara
Lassetter, was one of our most beloved
young women, and we extend to the be
reaved parents our deepest sympathy,
Mrs. Terrell Hurst spent Sunday with
relatives at Lone Oak.

Many stories of tho sixties were related,
and it. was 6 o’clock before they could
break away. .Only .six members of this
company are now left, and reunions have
been held in Senoia for a number of
years. The members present were W. H.
Summers of Turin, Wm. A. Anderson
of Vaughn’s, W. M. Odum of Senoia,
Joseph. Coggins of Hollouville, and ,T.
R. Johnson of Turin. Mr. Torn Carlton,
the sixth surviving member of the com
pany, was sick and could not attend.
MrB. W. F. Culpepper is visiting her
mister,'Mrs. Wilson, iii Macon.
Mr. C, H. Travis was in Atlanta Mon

Miss Augusta Jones, of CookesviUe,

Mr. Geo. P. Hod nett died at hl's home
here Monday morning at 4 o’clock, nf-
wr an illness of several months. Mr.
Hodnett and family have lived in 8c-
uom for about eighteen years, moving
here from Haralson. He was 70 years
°f age, and is sufvivol by hjs wife and

LONE OAK.
A family reunion at the home of Mr.
Claude Parker' was held Saturday. All
tho members of the family, consisting
of the father, six sonB and two daugh
ters, were thus brought together for the
first time in twelve years. A sumptuous
repast of barbecue and .every- other good
thing to eat was prepared in the grove
adjoining the home. In all, forty-two
guests were fed.. Needless to say, the
day was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and
it was agreed to make it an annual
affair. The venerable head of this esti
mable family is Mr. B. J. Parker; the
sons are J. R„ Charles, D. F., A. H.,
Claude and B. J, Parker, jr.; the daugh
ters are Mrs. E; J. Phillips and Mrs. T.
A. Harper.

Spence, of Trimble, were guests of Mrs.
J. M. Johnson during the revival meet
ing.
Miss Iowa Johnson, of Hogansville,
