proper to issue this, my proclamation,
hereby offering a reward of FIVE

Whereas, There is now pending in
the Superior Court of Cherokee county
a Bill of Indictment, charging James
li. Cloud, Win. Cloud and George P.
McCraw, alias La Fayette McCraw, with
the crime of murder, alleged to have
been committed upon the body of Jeriy
Garrison in said county of Cherokee;
and
Whereas, The said James B. Cloud,
Win. Cloud tjnd Geo. P. McCraw, alias
Lafayette McCraw, have been arrested
and confined under said charge, and
subsequently made their escape from
jail by breaking therefrom, and are now
at large greatly to the danger of the
peace and good order of the community.
Now, therefore, in order to bring
them to speedy trial for the crime with
which they stand charged, j have
thought proper to issue this, tny proela
uiation, hereby offering a reward ol
