er portions of the town Col. Tate has fudy
demonstrated his capacity is an able and
pains-taking instructor while his assistant,
Miss Dilly Waddell, h is no superior in the
teaching of tho smaller classes. Board is
cheap, tuition is cheap, and a better soluol

his earliest youth he displayed great force
and energy, and had his young life beeu
spared him he would doubtless been one of
the world's working heroes. With his be¬
reaved phrents, a large couoour-e of friends
and relatives assembled at the Methodist
Cemetery ou Sunday evening last, and there
