I have been trying my hand «t
keeping “bach" this week. Dr. and
Mrs. Lambuth and David have ail
gone to Shanghai, on a visit, arid
left tee here by myself, alone, with
out any company. It i» bad
enough to be by yourself in a

Senator Brown writes back to
his family from Hot Spring* that

30.000 acres of very rich laud in a
part of the State that is improving
