strive to carry on as Americans
and Christians the works which
were dear to her, and which we
feel are so vital to America and
to the world, and

extend our deepest sympathy to
her husband, her son and his
family, and to all her loved ones;
that a copy of these resolutions
be published in t h e papers of
of Wilkinson and Twiggs County;
that a copy be’presented to her
family; and that they be spread
upon our minutes as a tribute to
her memory.

est editor of Irwinton’s youngest
newspaper, Acxps”, is having
some of our trouble: people won't
slay ill. She nad Mrs. Fred Ev
erett written up as being ill. but
when she and Judy Ann Cars
well sallied forth to deliver the
Scoops there was “Miss Beulah”
smiling at them from the wind
ow of the Judy-Ruth! They star
ed a moment, then faced each oth
er. then rushed to the window.
“Miss Beulah ’they groaned,
“either you will have to go back
home or we will have to get out
another edition!”
I asked Dana what made Beul
ah ill, and she said it was some
thing beginning with P. 1 said I
hoped it wasn’t pneumonia No,
she told me very patiently, the
word began with the letter P. It
was pleurisy, but the patient is
as good as new.

and the schools of Irwinton and
Gordon.
