Judge Fite has adopted a new
rule for prorating Stenographer’s
fees between parties litigant,
providing that each party, plaint¬
iff and defendant, shall pay for
the direct evideuce of their wit¬
nesses and the cross examination
of the witnesses of the other side.
This rule the Judge thinks will
prevent the putting up of so
many unnecessary witnesses to
prove a fact and also the asking
of so many unnecessary ques¬
tions, especially on cross xarm-e
nation, as well as save a great
deal of time and expense in run¬
ning the courts. *
If you are in need of supplies,
sucli as corn, meet, flour, sugar
and coffee and willing to make a
good note, we can furnish the
above mentioned stuff until fall,
at a reasonable price.

Deafness Cannot be Cured
by local treatment, as the can¬
not reach the diseased portion of
the ear. There is only one way
to cure deafness, and that is by
constitutional remedies. Deaf¬
ness is caused bv an inflamed
condition of the mucous lining of
thr Eustachian Tube. When
this tube is sullamed you have a
rumbling sound or imperfect
hearing, and when it is entirely
closed, Deafness is the result,
and unless the inflamation can
be taken out and this tube re
stored to its normal condition
