NO. 36
In Memory.
On Thursday morning about 9
o’clock August 27th. the death
vngel called from the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Gordon
their loving little boy Irie. The
remains were laid to rest in
Holly Greek cemetary Friday
evening about two o’clock. The
funeral services were conducted
by Rev. King of Atlanta.
We should not greive for the
little one for we all know it has
gone to rest, and we all hope to
meet it in that home where sad
parting comes no more and
where their will be eternal hap¬
piness. Dear lovely father do
not weep, it has only gone be¬
fore, prepare to meet him in
that land where parting comes
no more, Dear mother do not
weep he lms'only gone to sleep,
you’ll meet each other by and
by, to walk the golden streets.
As we are left to mourn and
weep a long this lonesome way,
we hope to meet each other by
a id by in that celestial day. If
the little one could only apeak
to you to-day it would say papa
cmie this way, oh papa come
this way. Yes after while we’ll
go and see him then our trials
will be o’er reunited there in
glory where sad parting cornea
no more, oh the glory that »
waits us, oh the joy we shall
share with a shining crown of
glory with our little darling.
There we extend our greatest
sympathy to the bereaved par¬
ents, relatives and friend, who
are left to mourn Ins loss.

ROADS BEING IMPROVED.
The public roads of Murray
county are in better condition
now than ever before.
Especially in the 824th district.
Mr, J. R. Whiteeotton is to be
congratulated for his sound judg¬
ment and efforts. If the whole
county had such men at the head
we would soon have roads that
the people would be proud of.
Resenting the people of the
8 th district of Murray county,
Ga. The people will know abo»t
a bridge at the Jones ford 0 *
Oonnesauga river and that there
will be a court in joint with a
community in Whitfield county.
The people are greatly bothered
in this section.
