The Standard Specifications of the
State Hinhwav Department of Geor
gia have been adopted by the Geor
gia Highway Authority and will
govern any construction under these
proposals.

domestic materials, will be incor
porated in the contract.
Proposals must be submitted on
regular forms, which will he sup
plied bv the undersigned, and max
be obtained b\ a payment, in ad
vance, of $5 00 for each proposal
issued When the proposal is sub
mitted, it must be accompanied by
a proposal guaranty in the form of
a certified check, cashier's check,
nego’iahle United States Bonds, oi
other acceptable security in the
amount indicated, and must be
plainlv marked "Proposal for Road
Construction,” County and Number,
and show the time of opening as
advertised. Check of the low bidder
will be cashed and all other checks
will be returned as soon as the con
tract is awarded, unless it is deemed
available by the Authority to hold
one or more checks. If an unusual
condition arises, the Authority re
serves the right to cash all checks.
