Moran, who has held office for a long number of years is suc ceeded as tax receiver by E P. Lane. t'. P. Hawkins succeeds D. S. San ford as tax collector. Carl Vinson succeeds E. R. Hines, his law partner, in the legislature. O. M. Conn is treasurer and O. M. Cone Surveyor. W. H. Burwell, of Sparta, succeeds J. D. Howard, of this citv, in the san ate. W, H. Stcmbridge is ordinary, J. C. Cooper clerk of court, S. L. Terry sheriff, W. S. Scott, coroner. The county commissioners are C. G. McKinlev, A. 0. Bloodworth and W. H.
