The question of grading in many instances may re' — The lay of the land, to use a familiar term, makes it possible for the work to be 1 lovers, done easily according to plans mapped sut by the good roaas division of the United States department of agriculture, but it may not apply with equal force t > streets. With the facilities provided for this purpose Milledgeville will no doubt bs able to handle its crowd of fifteen convicts with admirable ease. The preliminary plans have been made, nothing now remains to be done, but to get down at the root of the trouble which causes bad streets. In this city there are twoer’three obstacles to be overcome, one of them being the antiquated so- called dummy line, but whether these can be surmounted or not yet remans to be seen.
