The abolition of the Georgia state
court of appeals is planned kg a bill
from Mr. R. N. Hardeman, of Jeffer
son county, which will be introduced in
the lugislatare this summer. Conflict
with the supreme court is the treason as-
signed for the introduction of the meas

supreme court justices.

Georgia Military College
to ettain more prominence this
than ever before. Many are expecting
a great season fur the institution next
term and the coming of the Newark
baseball team here will be a great ad
vertisement for the city and the college,
several -of the leading newspapers of
the country having already made ar
rangements to get news service from
Milledgeville and this will necessarily
incorporate the college as its grounds
are being used.
The monument to take the G. M. C
cadets to the president’s inauguration at
Washington has given the college much
publicity and will result in great good,
according to best authorities. Mr
Warron Edwards started the work ana
has kept it up without f i ling and now
success seems assured, Several other
similar movements have been started
in different states since Mr. Edwards
commenced work.
