Bible Presentation
are all excitement and activity over the
affair, in their estimation fuller of
moment than the debate in the Tariff
Bill.
Miss Treanor and her pupils are
working hard on the piano recital which
they are to give on Friday evening,May
23th. This entertainment will be held
in the College Chapel, and will be free
to the public. While a majority of the
music pupils are young and not far ad
vanced, their teacher has a varied and
interesting program of selections, and
recital promises to be highly entertain
ing.
The declaimers for commencement
have all been chosen, and most of the
speeches given out. Only cadets will
speak this year, for the first time in the
history of the college. The contest for
tho recitor’s medal representatives
from the young lajly students has been
eleminated from the Monday morning
exercises this year as an exueriment.
If the plan is found to work well the
elimination may be made permanent.

has turned out fine work for tho college
in previous years. Within the next
few weeks the mails going out frem
this city will bo carrying hundreds of
these handsomely engraved missives to
every part of the state and to other
states, The invitation carries the full
program of exercises, together with the
names of tho graduating class.

the Opera House on Monday night of

the talk of the town. Two plays will
be given—something never before at

has been appropriately styled “Senior
Night,” for the very sufficient reason
that it will signalize the parting honors
from the school to its latest graduates—
a glad good-bye from students and
teachers to those who will not again
gather within the hallowed old halls
where they have spent so many profit
able and happy hours.
