School Commissioner's examination, 1
am now before the good peoplo of Bald
win eounty as a candidate for the office
of tho same.
That the general public may know
something of tho past of him who asks
their support for so important an office.
1 am submitting the following:
1 am a graduate of the Military Col
lege of this place, and of the University
of Georgia, with a B. S. degree. Since
leaving the University, 1 have been en
gaged in teaching. Sixteen years a
student and six years a teacher, practic
ally my whole life since 1 was six years
old—and 1 am now in mv thirtieth year
—has been given to educational work.
The positions 1 liavo hold are as fol
lows: Teacher at Pine Grove School,
in Baldwin county, and at Box Spring
School, in Talbot county; Principal of
school at Union Point; Prof. History
and Science, Furlow High School, at
Amerieus; Prof. Mathematics, Ninth
Distric Agricultural School, at Clarkis-
villo, Ga.
