Little testified ho had charge of the affairs of the female department, having three hundred patients under him immediate care. He stated all nurses were well qualified to hold positions attending lectures twice weekly, and able to diagnose the physical condition of pa tients under their care. Dr. Thos. R. Wright, of Augusta, Was placed cn tho stand under oath and requested to give a comparative statement of the condition of the Georgia sanitarium. He declared aft er exhaustive examination he found conditions in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and United States hospital at Washington to be no better than here, despite the fact that larger aporopria- tions are given them. He recently made a trip north with Dr. Thos. M. Hall, of Milledgeville, to inspect north ern institutions. The examination will probably be finished this week, but nothing has so far been presented that reflects on the management of the institution in any way, so far as can be learned. Co.
