Concerning it reports from Augusta say: R. E. Dunnington was Thursday car ried back to Milledgeville to the asylum for the insane, but before he was car ried from the Richmond county jail he caused one of the most dramatic scenes ever enacted in the jail. Two officers accompanied him to Mil ledgeville. Dunnington was not aware of the change that had been made in his case until yesterday about noon time, and then he became very violent and tore the frames from the window in his cell.
