Tiie Origin of Royster Fertilizers:
Mr. Royster believed that success awaited the
Manufacturer of Fertilizers who would place quality
above other considerations. This was Mr. Foyster'b
idea Twenty-seven years ago and this is his idea
to-day; the result has been that it requires Eight
Factories to supply the demand for Royster Fertilizers.

Mrs. Lewis Flemister and Mips
Bessie Case superintended a happy
theeling of the Loving Service during
the past month. All of the little people
were highly delighted with the meet
ing, and are Mounting the days until
there shall be another. There is no
reason why all of the little folks, under
twelve, should not be members of this
hand of little workers.

opinion that Mrs. McMillan had boon
among the most enthusiastic and la

at her ill health, and the earnest desire
that she may soon recover and resume
her usual ulace in the activities of tlm

That all Savannahians and most Ge r
gians may feel justly proud of the now
Tybee Hotel ii the unanimous verdict J
o; the Building Committee which went
0 the island yesterday to inspect tht
work.
The hotel is practically complete, but
has not vet been accepted from the j
contractors. The committee found all
of the work completed, ex cpt a few J
finishing touches without and within,
and a few other minor details, ail ol
which can easily be done long before
the summer season opens.
Chairman Mills B. Lane of the Build
ing Committee, said the members of
the committee were delighted with th«
appearance of the new hotel. He said
it is oyer more beautiful than the
architect's drawings, and ti at\whenj
completed it will be a handsome edifice
and one that will bt^a credit to Savan
nah and the resort.
The contractors are a little behind
with lhe job, but the contract will have
1 een completed before the summer sea
son opens. The committee authorized
Chairman Lane to call upon the con
tractors to have the* building ready to
deliver complete to the commitee be
tween March 1 and 15. It is the judg
ment of the members of the committee
that this demand mav easily be compli
ed with as vgry little work remaino^to
be done to make the building a finished
product.
The building has been put up accoid-
ing to the original design, with three
stories to the main building and tw°
stories in both wings. It fronts both
the railroad and the sea giving a beauti
ful and pleasing appearance from any
direction. The wings project from the
main building toward to sea at an tingle
of forty-five degrees. The space be
tween tho wings will bo beautified and
converted into a terrace and (lower
graden with a pagoda in the center.—

Father And Son
The following incident carries a
reeded moral. Fathers are inclined to
throw off the responsibility of the
training of the children upon the
mother. They imagine that they are
too busy to take up time with their off
spring. But a boy needs his father,
and all the riches that may he accumu
lated will not buy a character for a boy
who has been neglected and has become
hopelessly warped by vice. To how
many fathers will this incident apply?
A Sunday-school teacher says: “One j
of my toys was often ^Absent, and,
showed anything but a bright morning j
face when he did come. To all my in- j
vitations and remonstrances he gave a 1
sullen response, till one morning when ;
1 ventured to give the class a little talk j
on eminent men who believed in the
Sunday-school, ending with the remark
that the way not to amount to anything
was to stay away from church and
Sunday-school. Then he burst out i
soothingly: *1 guess mv father 'mounts
to something! When I get a little oicier
1 do way father does—and he don’t
never go to church!’ The thought was 1
mightily borne in upon me that the way
for the Sunday-school to hold that boy
was to get hold of his fatheiThe
