Mrs. Culver Kidd Hostess.
One of the prettiest and most elab
orate social affairs of the past week
was the party at which Mrs. Culver
Kidd entertained a few friends at her
home on Columbia street Friday after
noon in honor of Mrs. Prank Bone’s
guest. Miss Katherine Turner, of
Rome.
The home was artistically decorat
ed throughout with guantities of sun
flowers, which harmonized with the
color scheme.
The guests were entertained with
r ook and late in the afternoon a de-
lightf 1 salad course and iced tea were
served.
Mrs. Kidd’s guests included Miss
Katherine Turner, Mrs. P. E. Bone,

Sunday School Picnic.
Mbs .Maude Norris entertained her
Sunday School class and a number of
friends with a picnic at Cox’s pond
Priday evening. Each member of the
lass was given the privilege of invit
ing a young man and Miss Henrietta
Conn, Miss Elolse Harper, Mr. and
Mrs. Oscar McAfee were invited as
special guests of the hostess.
Beating, bathing and a delightful
Picnic lunch were enjoyed during the
evening.

Last Priday afternoon the young la
dies of the Knick Knack Klub met at
the home of Miss Prances Bell in an
informal business meeting and decided
to change the name and occupation of

entered the inside palm of the hand,
coming out on the back.
The wound received by Mr. Goodson
was quite painful and he will he un
able to be at work again for several
weeks.
