RESOLUTIONS ON DEATH
OF MRS. S. D. STEMBRIDGE
On Argust 8th, 1918, Mrs. Sidney
Stembridge, our friend and co-worker
in Sunday School work, was called
from earth to her heavenly homce.
Nearing the closing of the day came
the closing of this life full of useful
ness and of loving kindness to those
about her. The memory of her pure,
sweet life, gentle and unassuming will
remain with us, for those who knew
her best loved her most.
Whereas, in Mrs. Stembrldge’s death
we feel a distinct less to our Sunday
school, be it resolved:
1st. That through her untiring de
votion to her Sunday School, her
cheerfvl presence, and regular attend
ance has left us an example worthy
of emulation.
2nd. That these resolutions be pub
lished in our city papers, and spread
on our Sunday school minutes as a
slight testimonial to her.
