ITALY HUlTS GIL AT HOME
j Government Engineers Report Large
| Quantities Can Be Obtained on
Island of Sicily.
-The Itnlian government lias
;o search for petroleum at I
Rome,
decided
liome.
’l'lie country needs about 400,(Vxi
tons a year, including heavy oils nnd
benzine. This is at present supplied
by America, and the high exchange
makes the business very expensive.
So fur. Italy only produces about one-
sixteenth the oil needed.
Italian engineers, who have studied
the fields, report thnt oil can be ob
tained In large quantities from the is
land of Sicily, that part of southern
Italy known ss the Hasiiicntn. from
Salerno, I-aitio and the Aveltno prov
ince. So the ministry of Industry
hns decided to spend some money In
boring for oil in those districts. Thus
far the sums voted are small, being
a little over a million llro (about ,
$363,000). But It is hoped that if |
the search now being undertaken
brings good results more will be ap
propriated very soon. I

Insist On Genuine Ford Parts
Imitation “Ford" parts are being sold by many mail-order houses, ukown-town stores and garages
to unsuspeoting Ford owners as "Ford" parts. They are not Genuine Ford parts made by tho Ford
Motor Company. They are made by concerns who have no connection whatsoever with the Ford
Motor Company. These imitation parts are not even made from tho same grade of steel, or under
the same formulars used by the Ford Company. They are conterfeit parts. Tests have shown them
to break when the genuine Ford parts didn't even bend, end they generally are from thirty-five to
one hundred per cent lower in quality.
Tho Authorized Ford Dealer is your protection. As such, we handle nothing hut tho Genuine Ford
parts. They are made from tho famous Ford Vanadium Steel and each part—according to its use—
is heat-treated in tho way that will give it the longest wearing qqualltlcs. Every part is tho
same as its duplicate in your Ford car or Ford truck.
Our stock of parts is complete. And our Ford garage and Ford mechanics nre at your service
at all times. Drive in when replacements or repairs for your Ford car may be necessary. Save your
car and also your money.
