The Folly of Cheating Nature
Many people pet the
idea that they can keep
their nerves on edge and
their digestion upset year
after year, and “get away
with it." They sleep only
half as much as they
should — and never get
properly and thorough!’-
rested.
If you tire cut eas.-y,
if you are getting pale and
anemic, if your food
doesn’t digest as it should,
would it not be well to
stop and consider whether
coffee or tea is having its
effect on you?
The caffeine and thein
found in colfte and tea
are drugs, as any doctor
can tell you. Is it any
wonder that the cteady use
of these drugs sometimes
causes serious damage?
If you really want to
be fair with yourself, and
give yourself the oppor
tunity you deserve in
order to do your best
work, make up your mind
to quit coffee and tea for
awhile—and drink delici
ous, appetizing Postum

Postum permits

Her Spouse, Now Seventy-seven
When He Drops in on Her.
New York.—When "Andie" Fuer-
plnger of l’earl River, N. Y„ came
marching home again a few days ago,
his wife did not recognize him.
Still, as R. Van Winkle discovered,
20 years make changes in any man,
and Fuerpinger was away 25 years.
Mrs. Fuerpinger was eating her din
ner near the open door when the old
man came up the walk. Her four
children are grown, and she has four
| grandchildren. She always said that
some day "Andie" would come hacks
hut it was 20 years ago that she
stopped searching hospitals and adver
tising in newspapers for him. Then,
while she was at her dinner, "Andie,”
seventy-seven years old. came up the
walk.
