WALL-CABELL
A quiet but very pretty home wed
ding was that of Miss Cornelia Wall
to Mr. Randolph McQuire Cabell, of
Waynesboro, Va., which took place
on Tuesday morning, June Cth, at
the home of the bride’s parents, Mr.
an:'. 1 Mrs. Briscoe Wall.
The decorations were unusually
beautiful, consisting of quantities of
white hydrangeas, with a background
of green. In the living room, the
scene of the nuptial, an altar was
reared of many ferns and southern
smilav, pedestals topped with silver
candelabras holding white tapirs
The bride and . groom made a very
effective and pretty picture standing
in front of the altar, as the doors
were thrown open by Miss Elizabeth
Cabell, sister of tj»e groom, and Miss
Olive Belle Wall, sister of the bride.
The bride wore a traveling suit of
dark blue, with accessories to match.
The ceremony was performed oy

Immediately after the ceremony
the couple left for points in Vlrgln'a,
after which they will be at home to
their friends In Waynesboro, Va.
The bride Is the eldest daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Briscoe Wall and has
many friends throughout the state
won by her attractive personality.
The groom hold's a responsible posi
tion as an instructor at Fishburn
.Military College at Waynesboro, Va.

at Cox's pond on Friday evening.
Dancing and bathing were enjoyed
and lovely refreshments served.

Miss Allie Louise Travis, house guest
of Miss Catherine Beeson, by her
hostess on Wednesday evening.

ptessive pageant at the Presbyterian
church. From there they went to
the Colonial Theatre and then to
Miss Beeson’s home for supper.

Miss Constance Day entertained at
her home on The Hill Friday after
noon at. a rook party In honor of
Miss Allie Louise Travis of Coving
ton, guest of Miss Catherine Beeson.
The rooms were beautifully decor
ated in pink gladioli and sweet peas.
After the game a delicious salad
course was served.

elect, on Tuesday afternoon at her

teaching in Atlanta is spending the

Saturday for a trip to San Francisco

Texas where she will teach this sum

Rev. G. I. Hiller came up from
Lakeland to perform the wedding cer
emony of Miss Cornelia Wall to Mr.
K. M. Cabell Tuesday morning. He
spent several days In the city as the
guest of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eoue.
Miss BJva Pritchett, who bar, been
teaching the past winter in South
Carolina, is spending the holidays

Misses Bessie and Ruby Rarwick of
