CHURCH NEWS
Rev. H B. Mays, presiding elder of
the Oxford District will occupy the
pulpit In the Methodist church this
coming Sunday. Dr. Mays will preach
at both morn'ng and evening serv
ices.
At 3:30 in the afternoon a busi
ness meeting will be ha! 1 in the
church. Dr. Mays is an eioiumt and
forceful speaker, and his visits to
this secfion are locked forward to
with a great deal of pleasure by the
people.
Quarterly conference will be held
at the Methodist church at Hope-
well on Saturday. Dr. H. B. Mays
will preach in the morning and even
ing. Dinner will be served on the
ground and the afternoon will be
taken up with the regular quarterly
business meeting.
