to law, a petition, of which a true
and correct copy is subjoined, will
bo presented to the Honorable .lames

Toni Hall and Barbara Hall, minors,

spectively; that he was appointed guar

feet, and bounded on the Hast by the
lands of C. P.» Schell and on the
West by the land of J. II Ennis,
whereon is located tile old dwelling
house of Judge Iverson H. Harris.
Par. :’>. Petitioner says that the
entire property tilings a yearly gross
income of $420.00. The taxes and in
surmice paid or. the same amounts to

which bonds cun be purchased by him
at $99.90 per $100.00 face value.
Par. 5. Petitioner shows that no

-TAX LEVY NOTICE
Upon motion, the following order
levying taxes for county purp iscs fur
the year 1922 was passed:
Win n as, the State tax for the ycat
1922 lias been levied hv the propei
authorities, which tax has been fixed a*,
five mills upon each dollar of taxable
property; and.
Whereas, the total value of the prop
erty returned for taxation in Baldwin
county is $4,121,200.00;
It is therefore, considered, ordered
and adjudged that there be let led upon
all property returned for taxation in
Baldwin county, and upon all property
in said county liable for taxation, a
rtx of one and three-tenths per cent,
that is to say a tax of thirteen mills.

whii h levy is made for tho year 1922.
The above tax is for countv purposes
and is in addition to the school tax
hereinafter levied, and the said tax is
levied for the following purposes and
in the following amounts:
1. To pay jurors, a tax of li-lOO per
cent or 6-10 mills.
2. To pay bailiffs, a tax of 1-100 per
cent, or 1-10 mills.
3. To pay expense of inquests, a tax
of 2-1000 ]ier cent or 2-100 mills.
4. To support prisoners in jail a tax
of 1-100 per cent or 5-10 mills.
I. To support paupers a tax of 7-100'
per cent, or 7-10 mills.
0. To pay f he legal fees and salaries
of. county officers, a tax of 1-10 pol
ecat or 1 mill.
7. To furnish books and supplies for
comity offices a tax of 2S-1000 per cent
or 28-100 mill.
8. To construct and repair the public
l-oads, a tax or 4-10 p-u- cent or 4 mills.
9. To pay the past due legal indebted
ness of the county, a tax of 2.-10 per
cent or 2 mills.
10. To build and repnir public* idges
and to repair the county jail and court
house a tax of 3-H) per com, or 3 mills
II. To pay the salary and expense of
the Health Commissioner a tax of 8-100
p cent or 8-lo mill.
Total 1-3-10 per cent, or 13 mills.
In addition to the above tux it is or-
upon each dollar of taxable property ii
said county a tax of 4-lu per cent oi
four mills,'for the support of the pulilii
schools of said couuty for the year J92-.
The Tax Collector of said county is
ordered to assess and collect for use oi
the said county of Baldwin the tux here
