two weeks. Buyers and holders differ

and if to this be added the large quan
tities ef manufactured goods and the
dull market in this line, th* prospects
for wool ar* certainly not flattering.
California unwashed spring wool, which
comperes favorably with Georgia wool,

has been bought by home manufactur-

The parties were both colol-ed, and hid

past Elfie Hill was the-wife of Prince
Hill, .and it seems that Prince had be
come enamoured of the other woman,
Henrietta Cato, and hence the bad state
of feeling between the two females.
Late Wednesday night the jealous wife
went ‘to the cahin of Henrietta, and
found her faithless husband there,
whereupou she seized sn ax and went

two women, and left the house, but
tlie enraged wile soon returned armed
with a club, and renewed the attack,
upon Henrietta, when the latter
stabbed her with a knife and killed her.
The knife was an ordinary pocket
