The Proprietors of the above Journallmvc spared
no labor or expense to place it in tiik front
nted the first day of Jnnunry, 1832, William S,
conveyed to said Parmlee certain lots and parts of
lots of land, lying in the seventh district of Uakar
oounty, known as numbers two hundred nnd forty,
i 240) nnd two hundred and two, (202) each contain-
ng two hundred and fifty ilcrcs, and lot number two
hundred and one, (201) with the exception of fif
teen and one-uixth acres olf of (lie south end of naid
lot, aud.the undivided one-half of l\»t number two
hundred and thirty-nine, the said part of 201 con
taining two hundred and thirty-four and five-sixth
acres, and the snid part of two hundred nnd thirty-
nine containing one hundred and twenty five acres,
for the purpose of securing the payment of three
(3) promissory notes made hy the said Wise, each
dated tho said 1st of January, 1832, and payable
with interest from (laic, ono payable twelve months
after date, for $291(5 13, twenty uino hundred and
sixteen dollars nnd sixteen cents ; the second pay
able two yonrs after date for said sum ($2910 10)
and the third note due three years after (Into, for
the snid sum of $2913 13 The whole ofsnld notes
amounting In the snid sum of Eiglity-8even Hun
dred and Forty-Eight Dollars nnd forty-eight cents,
aud which said notes are now due and unpaid.
It is ordered thnt said William 8. Wise do pay
into this Court hy the first day of next term, the
principal, interest and cost duo upon said notes, or
show cause, if any he can, to the contrary, and in
default thereof foreclosure to he granted lo the said
Charles II. Parmlee of said mortgage, and the
equity of redemption of the snid William 8. Wise,
therein hu forever barred, and that service of this
rule he perfected on said William 8. Wise accord
ing to law.
