This body will hold its next session
in Macon, Georgia, on the 30—31 of
May, 1879. Having received many let
ters iu reference to representation in
the State Association I take this method
of answering all.
Every County Association is entitled
to one delegate fer every 300 officers
and members, or fractional part of
300, composing the County Associa
tion,
In counties where no association ex
ists the representation is two delegates
for each member to widen such coun
ty is entitled.in the Legislature.
These last named are aDpointed by
the viee-pvesidpnt of the Congressional
district iu which snch comity is loca
ted. Separate schools are not entitled
as such to. representation, but must-
either form county Associations and
let such Association sead delegates, or
else must apply to the vice-presidents
to select delegates.
I most earnestly call upon the minis-
1 ters of religion of all names and Snn-
dav-sheool workers all over the State,
and especially upon the vice-presidents,
Assistants, Secretaries and members of
the Executive Committee, to use their
utmost endeavors to have ev
ery county in Georgia represented iu
the next Association in Macon.

Stable manure saems to bold it own
against all other competing fertilizers,
as is indicated lty the fact that in these
days cf low prices, the value of good
stable manure in the market of New
York lias gone up this year at least 20
per cent. Two facts are probably de
veloped still, more by this rise. ‘ Firstly,
that stable munnro is rather gaining
than losing m popularity, and, second
ly; that tbs demand is increasing be
cause more people are turning their at
tention to farming, and because those
engaged in it already are improving
their methods.

The vocabulary of the ancient sages of
Egypt was about 685 words. A well-edu
cated person seldom uses more than 3,000
or 1,000 in actual ccmversation. Accurate
thinkers and close reasoners employ a
larger stock, and eloquent speakers may
rise to a command of 10,000. Shakspeare
produced all his plays with about 15,000.
Milton’s works ave built up with 8,000, yet,
witli all-these, there is not enough to. accur
ately describe the superiority and general
excellence of the world-renowned C’arbo-
iine, which is an elegant dressing, removes
dandruff, cleans the scalp, prevents the
hair from failing out restores the hair on
bald heads, restores it to its original color,
makes it grow rapidly, will not stain the
skin, contains not a particle of lead, silver,
sulphur, or other deleterious drugs. It is a
Natural product of the earth, containing
the elements required by the hair to feed
upon. A few applications will show its
restorative qualities. Does not require
months of continued use before you can
perceive any result. It is cooling, cleanly,
and too much praise cannot be bestowed
upon it Sold by all dealers in drugs and
medicines. Price One Dollar a bottle. We
advise our readers to give it a trial, feeling
satisfied that one application will convince
them of its wonderful effects.
