HOME STUDY: Bookkeeping, Shorthand,
the 8rd inst. The
weather being fine, quite a num
ber of guests were present to en
joy the hospitality dispensed so
graciously by our clever hostess.
The house was unusually attract
ive in its decorations of pot plants
and a profusion of fchejjautumn’s
choicest out flowers. As a pre
lude to the game,‘Titles of Books,’
with the double purpose, we sup
pose, of placing us in an amiable
frame of mind and stimulating
our faculties for the contest, each
guest was served with a tempting
oup of hot ohocolate. The game
continued for some time with un
abated interest, the prize, a pret
ty bisque figure,!being finally won
by Mrs Po\Vers Cooper.
At the conclusion of the game,
a course of delicious cakes and
ices was served, reudered doubly
enjoyable by its daintily arranged
and pretty color scheme. The
guests lingered until each feared
a curtain lecture from her irate
lige lord at home and departed
voting the occasion one of the
pleasantest social functions of
the season.
The club will, next be enter
tained by Mrs. G. B. Wells, on
Thursday afternoon, Deoember
8rd. 0. E.

Jii*,
we sold more vehicles last year than dealers who
have been in the business for the last quarter of a
century speaks volumes.
People are becoming more exacting every day.
The first thing they seek now is quality. They
next consider the price. That is sensible.
That explains the whole matter.
Quality and Price is Our Hobby.
We do not consider cheap vehicles at all. We decide on
the BEST wagons and buggies and then buy them so we
can undersell our competitors.
We get all the discounts off by paying spot cash.
We can prove all we say to he true.
