PERRY HIGH SCHOOL NOTES

The cold weather does not seem
to have effcted the attendance of
the school. y
Mrs. Skellie reports tliat she
^as twenty expoession pupils.
The:Parent-Teachers Association
voted Mr Gooden $50 to buy
labratory equipment with. This
vill certainly come in good as the
equipment we have present is
meagre insufficient.
Friday afternoon the two
literary societies Were reorganized
They are “The Lanier,” and “The
Grady.” The societies, expect to
do much better work this year
than last. A public challenge de
bate between the two societies is
panned for sometime before
Christmas. The societies eonsist
of High School studontsonly, the
students being about evenly de-
vited between the, £wo societies.
