Baptists Observe Centenary
Hampton.—The Flint River associa
tion of Baptist churches has just
closed its most successful annual
meeting. The meeting was held for
two days, September 26 and 27, and
was an entire success from every
standpoint. This meeting marked
the 100th anniversary of this associa
tion, and for this reason the attend
ance was unusually ; large, probably
the largest which ever attended one
of these meetings.

Quitman.—An anonymous telephone
call from a woman brought the infor
