themums. Candelabra hold

The bride-elect is a 1970
graduate of Perry High
Miss Janice Moss of Atlanta.
They were attired in floor
length dresses of old fash
ioned pink dotted swiss.
They wore picture hats of
pink satin edged with horse
hair braid, and carried white
baskets filled with varigated
shades of pink carnations.
Little Miss Kay Blood
worth was flower girl. She
was dressed in white eyelet
with a pink satin bow. She
wore a pink satin bow in her
hair and carried a small bas
ket of flowers. Alex Whid
don was ring bearer.
Mrs. Whiddon, cousin of
the bride, chose for the oc
eassion a jade green silk
dress with matching acces
sories. The groom’s mother,
Mrs, Berdinc Miller, was at
tired in a powder blue knit
dress and matching access
ories. Each wore a corsage
of white feathered mums.
After the ceremony, Mr.
and Mrs. Whiddon entertain
ed at a reception in the so
cial hall of the church.
Guests were greeted by
Mrs. Julian Cawthon and pre
sented to the receiving line
composed of the wedding
party.
The tiered cake rested on
a table covered with pink taf
feta overlaid with white or
gandy, The cake was topped
with wedding bells. Candela
bra with white tapers and
an arrangement of white car-

The wedding is planned
for July 25, at 5:00 p. m.
at the Tharpe Memorial Bap

The wedding ceremony un

Stefanini was held at 3 p. m.,
Sunday, June 21 at the Perry
Presbyterian Church.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Paul
Dayton. The parents of the
groom are Mr. and Mrs. Hu
bert Joseph Stefanini.
The Rev. Mark Gutzke of
ficiated at the double ring
rites. The couple stood be
fore the altar decorated with
candelabra, palms and bas
kets of white gladioli. Miss
Patsy Bynum, organist, and
Tommy Storey, soloist, pre
sented a program of nuptial
music.
Dan Jacobs of Cleveland,
Tenn. served as best man.
Stuart Stefanini, brother of
the groom, Tom Leonard and
Greg Leonard were ushers.
The bride was attended by
her sister, Miss Patti Dayton
as maid of honor. Brides
maids were Miss Betty Webb
of Macon, Mrs. Ronald Lock
erman of Montezuma and
Mrs. Karen Manry of Ameri
cus.
The attendants were gown
ed in identical dresses of
apricot taffeta overlaid with
chiffon. Matching lace cov
ered the bodice, neckline,
and the wrist of the long
full sleeves. Their head
pieces were short apricot
veils which fell from satin
bows. They carried cascades
of yellow carnations and apr
icot rosebuds.
Little Miss Terri Sandefur
was flower girl. She was
dressed in a apricot gown
similar to those worn by the
bridesmaids. She carried a
basket of yellow carnations
and apricot rosebuds.
Escorted down the aisle
by her father who gave her
in marriage, the bride was
lovely in a bridal gown of
white silk organza and lace.
It was fashioned with an em
pire bodice and short
sleeves of lace. Seed pearls
trimmed the appliques of
lace on the hemline. Her
fingertip veil was attached
to a bow embroidered with
seed pearls. She carried a
cascade of white rosebuds
centered with a white or
chid.
For her daughter’s wed
ding, Mrs. Dayton was at
tired in a green embroidered
silk organza dress with a
matching coat. She used
matching accessories and had
a green cymbidium orchid.
The groom’s mother, Mrs.
Stefanini, wore an aqua silk
shantung with matching ac
cessories. A white orchid
corsage completed her at
tire.
The reception was held in
the church fellowship hall
